chrome rims

How do u clean chrome rims it seems that i keep getting water spots and cant seem to get them off and what should i use to clean them with?

i always wash em hand dry em right away and wax em

use brillo pads, it works wonder on chrome, then once your done hand wash them like above me said, and make sure you put some wax on them, the wax helps keeps them cleaner longer.

i have these dark black spot on the rims that i can get off i dont know if its oxidation or what how do i get that off and do i just use car wax for the rims

We old bikers are big fans of Simichrome chrome polish, from Germany. Doesnt protect long, so wax per above after. Brillo can remove allot of rust/oxydation...

i use mcguiars chrome cleaner, then hit em with any really durable paste wax, depending on the color of your car you might want to use something with a yellow or other warm tone, or green/ cool tone

I just dry them with my shammy as I dry the rest of the car. After the car sits for an hour and is really dry, Ill go over them with a soft T-Shirt and buff out the water spots. If that doesn't work or I see a small sign of rust, Ill use a little Mother's polish.

haha yea brillo pads? u want to clean the rim, love the rim, caress the rim...use a shammy/old tshirt and if there are spots...scrub harder
