While your typical egging is effective, if true revenge is sought you have to be a little wittier than average.

If you know who you're getting back try this... Instead of straight up "egging" the car, empty the contents of a carton of eggs into a spray bottle and add a little acetone and water, shake hardily and spray liberally from front bumper to back, especially if the weather has been poor. It looks something like what road dust usually would at first, but the first time the victim attempts a car wash, they quickly come to the realization that they have been screwed... and for some people, the next carwash can be a month or more away... all the less suspicious for yourself...

My older brother Shane has done this twice... its mean as hell but so is egging someones car in the first place...

when i was in highschool i had a mitsubishi mirage hatchback ( like http://www.rceng.com/mirage_lg.jpg but black and not so raced out). well i rigged up a rotating solenoid under the hood, connected to one of the windshield squirters and had a rocker switch that controlled it. i would dump all sorts of weird stuff into the wiper fluid resevoir (for example; soy sauce). that thing had some range and provided for some serious side splitting laughs. looking back, we never egged anyone, but we did carry a few paintballs to launch with a slingshot (if you want to launch the paintballs hard, leave them in the freezer for a while so they don't explode prematurely).

That sucks man. I was over my friends house who doesn't live in the best neighborhood and I had it happen. She walked me out to my car late at night and I noticed I had a few eggs on my door. The thing that pissed me off the most was my friend kept saying "you don't think thats at least a little funny?"

I worked hard for my car. I don't like other people messing with it. I have better things to do then wash egg off of it at 1am such as sleep.

someone egged my car the first year i had it on halloween. i never found out who did it.

someone keyed it this past january too.
