what is the best and easiest way to clean chrome rims? i have a set of stock chrome snoflake rims and i LOVE Meguires Hot Rims but it freaking ruined my calipers!!!! what the easiest way to make them look good?

hmmm, yea, polish isn't the way for you. Unless you get one of those badass polishing balls that Chip Foose advertises on TV. I have chrome rims and I use Meguires Hot Rims everytime I wash my car and I've never had trouble with my calipersOriginally posted by vr4gasm

windex or eagle 20/20 glass cleaner works great just dont use windex on your windows if they are tintedComment

I just use some generic chrome polish i bought at Orchard Supply, works great and takes no more than 15 minutes to polish all four wheels.

Just buy a bottle of (liquid) chrome polish (it really shouldnt' matter what brand), apply to rag, wipe on all four wheels, then go back and wipe off. Easy.

mine normally look like crap, so for this detail, i used turtle wax chrome polish very liberally. just washed them down with the meguires goldclass car wash, used some wheel brush to clean all the brake dust off, and then used the polish. i was quite happy with the results!2002 SOM Camaro- Sold
