I am finished up wiring my 4 GA power wire in the passenger side, but I ran into a problem when I tried to put the door sill paneling back on. The wire is too large and wont go down far enough, especially around the seat belt area. How do you remeove the seat belt anchor to the floor? If I can remove it and push the wire further down, it should make enough room to put the panel back on. There is a large plastic piece with a very large phillips type pattern, but that does not loosen anything, it just spins freely. Any suggestions?

Re: Removing seatbelt anchor
it's a hex bolt if i remember right
When i was wiring mine i ran into the same problem but i didnt feel like removing the seat belt anchor
i just shoved my hand under the carpet, and force fed the power wire thru until i could reach it with my other hand on the other side of the seatbelt.
It was a tight fit, but its do-able.*Matt

Re: Removing seatbelt anchor
Heres what I would try, It worked for me...
Pull off the side panel thing that runs along the bottom of the door, this sholld let you see the carpet edge. Pull back the carpet a little bit so you can see under it... Then run the wire under the carpet and push it under the drivers seat and around the other side of the seatbeld anchor. then pull it back out once your past that area. Worked for me.MSN: inynn666@hotmail.com
1996 Arctic white -3800-
Pacesetter Headers & Y-Pipe, CAI, LS1 Dual Exhaust, LS1 Driveshaft
*15.17 @ 95MPH*
