  • Some pics of my Camaro

    Hi,

Here are some pictures of my Camaro that I now have been owner to for the last ten days. The car is no extravaganza, it´s a all original 3.4l V6, well ok, it has working A/C. As you can see from the license plates, it´s registered and driven in Sweden :-)

Please feel free to comment and make suggestions of what can be done to make it look better (if needed). It´s my first Camaro so I am a newbie and don´t know the no-no´s of styling this car.

Looks great! I'd start with some new wheels, maybe some corvette wheels. I'd also get windows tinted. I like the interior.

Tinted windows would have been great,,, if it was allowed in Sweden :-). Well, it is ok with the rear, but not the front doors nor the windshield.

That there is a thread started by f-body owners as to everybody's opinions of what is cool and what is not. As I said, it is everyone's opinions and may not reflect your personal taste. IMO, some new wheels (corvette) are the way to go but I know they can get pretty expensive, especially living over there. I love the color and the interior looks very clean.

Hehe, well, it seems like a short shifter is needed :-). It is like shifting a Volvo 240, but I havn´t really thought of a new shifter. Now, I will!!

I have read some threads about the short shifters and seen some pictures, so I have to see what I can find here in Sweden. Otherwise, I´ll have to order it from the US.

                    Thanks for the inputs.

How much is shipping to Sweden if you ordered from a store here? My gf's dad has a Miata and he orders car stuff but he gets it shipped to my house here in the US. It must be really expensive if he does this and not to Sweden.

The problem is when you order from US directly to Sweden, is that you have to pay customs and VAT and of course the freight cost. I don´t have the exact figures, but the taxes would be around 20-25% extra from the order price. If you personally send the products I suppose you don´t specify the exact value, or write "gift" on the package.

Spare parts are expensive here. Specially for American cars. I would say that the prices are half compared to Sweden.

Just compare the car prices (American cars that is). My -95 V6 3.4 is worth next to nothing in Us (I´ve seen them for a bit under $2000), here the prices for that car starts at $9000.

So even with taxes and everything it is worth ordering from over there.

                              IMHO what would look good:
New exhaust tips, chrome 3" slant cut
                              blacked out corners
                              rims
