Ok well i have had this chip on the far right side of my bumper, since i bought it but it started to to chip white paint after about 6 months and is slowly increasing.(peep the metal under that ****) The kid i got the car from said it was a key, but damn, it must have been a fat *** key. Im kinda a new to repainting serfaced and **** so i wouldnt be able to do this.
well i could use touch up paint on the chipped part. But the rest of the fat scratch is slowly chipping away. After it rains or i wash my car. So is there any touch up paint i could use and then mabey some clearcoat **** i can just put over the whole think to help it out at least?
A home job by a 13yr old is better than maaco and cheaper.
Thats not metal, its probably the primer. If you can not afford to take it to someone, sand the entire area, down to the primer and if the scratch goes past the primer into the fiberglass, really sand that immediate area to smooth the penetration. primer the area, sand smooth. paint, sand, clear, wet sand. polish and enjoy. it will look better than that and last longer than maaco at a fraction the cost. for accurate and detailed painting, do some searching. I am not a painter but I know some basics.
