window tint!

first off I have a 94 camaro convertible. today i finally got the windows tinted. I went with the legal 35% up front and 20% on the small back window. Anyone else get 35% and regret it? At first I thought it was great but now I'm starting to wish it was darker.

I have 35%. i regret it, but i didn't want the extra reason for the douchebag cops around here that go for tint to pull me over. Really wanted 20%, but it's strictly enforced around here and it's 35% all around.

Why did you got 35%. It's not dark enough for a f-body. Our cars looks great on 20%. Btw, it really doesn't matter what % you tint your tiny rear 8" glass. :tdown: 35% , still post some pics. Lets see how it looks

yeah i have the small back window. i figured it doesn't matter how dark that is since i can't see anything out of it anyway haha. I really would've liked the 20% better too but the cops around here seem to have a grudge against teenagers in camaros haha. btw does $120 sound like a good price i didn't really shop around a whole lot so i don't know what's fair. I'll post some pics as soon as I get a chance too.

Oh yeah you have a 'vert don't you? I forgot. i paid $70 for my back window. Did the sides myself, so like $15 for supplies or whatever it was.

after watching the guy do it I think I could have done it myself. then again pros always makes stuff look easy haha. A friend of mine just tinted is grand am's windows himself and they're already starting to bubble after 3 weeks, so I figured I'd leave it to a professional.

i thought 20% is legal??? Thats what I'm gettin, plus 35% on the front. Ky could care less about your tint.

you're getting your windshield tinted?? I didn't think that was legal at all. anyway KY might not care but MA is gay.

yeah its not legal, but 35% on the front is pretty light and with 20 around the sides and back, 35 up front won't look so dark. My buddy has 5% on his windshield. There is no way i could drive with 5 up front. He can't see **** at night.

tint laws change state by state. Oregon is 35% all around, but i know in some states, you could paint your back window black for all they care, and some states you can't have ANY tint whatsoever.

well i think i can live with 35% for now. it's better than nothing. but i can already tell that i'll want it darker eventually.

NJ tint law= "Absolutely no tint front or back" I got 20% all around :D ( I do have to say that I am on warning :( though)
