Ive had tailight blackouts on my car for a bout 50,000 miles. no tickets for them. ive even been pulled over once with them on the car, and the cop didnt even mention it. Thats not to say you wont get a ticket... but i wouldnt say its too likely.

NJ is a lot different. Tint, blackouts, license plate covers, ect ect, and you get pulled over. They look for everything they can to screw ya.

never got a ticket for my tailight blackouts. night or day... never got a ticket for my headlight blackouts except one night I forgot to take them off for night driving and I got pulled over and warned... i think blackouts are better but have lost a few on the freeway cause I don't think I secured them well after taking them off

just not really crazy bout the brightness of the lights with them on...and i like the fact that there just dark red instead of truely black, makes them look more like ole school trans am tailights

Is the Niteshades applied to the outer or inner surface?

never gotten a ticket for having my dark tints, exhaust, subs, blackouts, no front plate. The cops just dont care much around here. Unless they need a reason to pull you over cuz u look up to trouble.

I hate to say it, but ever since the whole 911 attack, it's been a lot different around here with the cops... they are everywhere and looking for everything.. I figured they were like that everywhere, but I guess not. You guys are lucky. ;) I've been pulled over 3 times for no front plate (and fined $100 w/a court appearance on one occasion), ticketed once for tint, and warned for a license plate cover... just to name a few.
