Best headlights out there....
Ok my mom has a 04 yukon with the stock bulbs in it and my step dad wants to put something in it that has the blue color but doesnt want to shell out the money for a true HID kit so tonight i went to walmart and got some silverstar's for it and i feel that they were way over rated....they seemed not a bit brighter than the stock one's and barly had a differant tint to them...so my question is what is a good bulb that is bright but has very nice color to it like a blue or purple tint...remember it does have to be bright i dont want to risk any night driving safety for some fancing looking bulbs.....i saw ones called silverstar ULTRA i wanted to know if anyone tried those and how do they look.....any other suggestions are welcome.....and they also have to be well in the rain......Thanks in advance for any help

check ebay. You can get some that are a few watts over stock so they are brighter and have a nice tint to them. -

my silverstars worked great. they are brighter and do give you a whiter/bluer light. I don't really know if they are the ultras but they were 20 bucks a piece if that helps.Comment

yea those are the regular silverstar that i tried last night.... i had them in for about 5 min. and took em out and returned them cause i didnt see any improvment.....i think i might try the ultra's todayComment

i have the ultra and i love the light they put out. The white color. I used to have the regular ones and i liked them too. I98 Mystic Teal Camaro

HID's FTW!!! you can find kits on ebay for under a $100, and they will put out way more light than halogen bulbs, you should look into it
