nope, real thing this time.

I wasn't entirely sure at first but they are growing on me already. I really like how much more the red calipers stand out over the whitish silver they were before.

I might like this enough to keep these wheels longer than expected. Maybe get some better tires with smaller sidewall and lower it :shrug:

P.S. I really like these pictures because my tint looks way darker than usual. :)

oh, as for the center caps, i'm still undecided what to do. i decided i'd paint them because unpainted they looked like sh!t with the black wheels, and worst case i wouldn't be using them anyway.

So i'm considering getting chrome lugnuts and painting the dust cap in the center either black or silver or attempting to polish it up. Or keep the center caps as is.

What do you guys think?

Yep, my friend and i took the job on last night. 3-4 coats of black and probably close to 5 or 6 of clear to make them nice and shiny :)

wheels are always going into dirty environments...paint the wheels black is an invitation. I have a blk car and its impossible to keep it clean on the body...on the wheels...well, its not going to stay that way..no way..no how.
