I would have searched to see if this was already listed but I'm not sure how to list this or even what to search for. Please ignore my ignorance if this is already listed somewhere.
A few years ago someone hit me in the drivers side. They had to replace the drivers rear quarter panel. When they did, it developed an air leak around one of the seals. Not the one in the door (they plugged the air equalization port and squirted foam around the seals to test it and even did the "dollar bill" test on the door seal) but the one next to the piece that goes across the roof. I found the small area where the leak appeared. What's the best way to seal it?
The body shop guy found what he thought was the leak and sealed it with some kind of clay-type material. Is this an acceptable method to plug this same, small leak? And if so, where can you find that stuff? Thanks for any ideas.
