  • Billet Grill Question

Hey guys just a quick question about the billet grilles off of ebay for a 2002 camaro. Do they bolt right into the holes that the plastic grill came out of or do you have to drill the straight into the bumper. Also could any of you reccomend a seller on ebay? I'm just not sure who to buy from on there since there are so many.

    Thanks

    Re: Billet Grill Question

The plastic grill just pops out. Just hold the new grill up to the front of your car and mark where the holes are. Drill the holes you marked and then just screw it in. Takes about 5 minutes. As for the Ebay sellers, I have no idea. I was lucky enough to have a performance shop nearby, and I picked mine up that day.

Oh yeah, if your car isn't already black you might want to paint behind the grill black. IMO it just looks better if you can't see the bumber behind the grill

        I'm tired of billet, also.
Are there other custom alternatives, or are you going back to stock? I hope to find something different from OEM plastic, but not billet...

yah, maybe grill matl stock cut to fit is the answer.
I like that mesh used in the intake holes of aftermarket smooth-front inserts, with out a grill...
I'll look in better hardware chains also. Metal cloth of the right texture and finish may work...
