wow... now that i look at that closer, that looks pretty good. Though I would want to make sure that I can go dark enough that the red and white can barely be seen. What I want as an end result of this is a smooth consistent gloss black all the way across the back end, almost like how rx7's look when the tint the back.

Yea, that would look good. Just make sure its not half tinted cuz that would look worse than stock.

not a fan of the panel. maybe if you switched your tail lights to the maro storm tail lights then only tinted the red, it would look better, since those reverse lights fallows the trunk's lines better than the tricolored lights.

Bigtymer, that looks great. I think I like that better than tinting the whole tail light. I'm not sure what I wanna do yet with mine, but I still have a while to decide, as I have not gotten the nightshades yet, and I plan to go to the junkyard to get a new rear panel cause I'd like to keep mine so I can switch back to stock if I want.
Can you get a couple close-ups of the tails so I can see where you masked yours off and whatnot?
I got my new turn signals in, the ones on the ebay link I posted. They look pretty good, I just gotta get used to not having anything silver on the front of my car.
Somehow my stock grill fell off my car (i had already taken it off, and just put it back on without any clips, and i guess it wasnt held in good enough), but I lost it. Anyone have a stock grill they'd be willing to give me? I just wanna paint it gloss black and put some silver inserts on it.
I need more opinions on the berger/vht mod I wanna do, take a look at previous photoshops in this thread and tell me what you like! im getting ready to do that soon.
i say if you wanna leave the reverse lights un tinted, pick up some pre 97 tail lights because they flow so much better. with the post 96 tail lights, i would either niteshade the whole thing or none.

yea i know what your saying... i might do that, supposing i can pick up a set of pre 97 lights pretty cheap... i'll check the local junkyard when i get my new rear panel for the berger mod
