hey guys, couple appearance mod questions.

    1. I was looking to get this wire loom kit from summit, my car is red and i have msd coils that are also red, so red seems to make sense.

    http://store.summitracing.com/partde...=700+%2D170843

the question is, how do i install the kit? How will i know which tubes are for what, and so on?

    2. Looking to do the clear corners mod on my firebird. Lights are only abouty 35 $ for two of them on ebay. anyhow, how is the install on them? anybody do them yet? Is it as simple as i think it is?

    3. Looking to get a strut bar, found this one on EBAY... is this one going to fit my 93 3.4? and how do you install one of these bad boys?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/STRUT...ayphotohosting

BTW, just ordered custom mats for the bird- java (cream color) mats with red FIREBIRD word in the middle (should match my cream fuzzy seat covers nicely)

thanx in advance for any of these answers

the wire loom is easy, just measure and cut it according to what size you need. take off the old loom and cut it exactly the same and use the same width piece. should be real easy and look real good!

im pretty sure the strut bar is a couple bolts where you botl it to each side of your frame in your engine bay, shouldnt be to hard at all.

I just did clear corners the other day on my 94 bird and it took about 2 hours to do with alittle help from a freind. You gotta take off the whole lower shroud where the intake is covered by and reach from bottom of car and unscrew 3 more bolts that hold the clears corners into there holsters.

good call kronic, when i installed my CAI i "ripped" off most of those bolts already, at least on the drivers side, so it shouldn't be hard to get to. any other tools i will need? or is it just by hand after that? thanx

oh and if you got a pic, i'd love to see it

Removing the headlites made the corners easy for me, but I was replacing the headlites.
Strut bars dont make much difference, put the money in red bushings instead!

He has a 93-97. You have to replace the corners from under the car with those, unlike 98-02 where you just have to (like you said) pull the headlight off.

They are suspension components that wear out with miles, but also a way to change the ride and handling of yr car. And I have seen them in red...

More difficult but even more improving are the suspension bushings:

Overall, this article is a nice model to follow for anyone wanting to build up a potent V6 Fbody for the street, in increments, IMHO & $.02:

I think Summit has the red bushings, but whether they'd show enough bling accent for you is conjecture...
