  • how hard is it to make a forth gen t-tops

i've seen people do it. how involved is it. What all do you need. Where would i go if i wanted a pro to do it. How much would it cost if i took it to a pro vs. if i did it my self.

searching will get you your answers the quickest. There are a few people who have done it, and as i understand, once you have all the stuff, it's not too bad. You cut part of your roof out. I can't imagine how much a shop would charge, but it wouldn't be worth it. Search, and if you're really that interested, dive it. Some other guys that have done it should chime in too.

I did it, it is nearly impossible to find a shop that will do it for something reasonable.

Its easier then one would think but I would not call it a "cinch"

do a search in the appearance section, I had some good posts about it, under my old s/n MustangEater8251 Kristen has some good posts too, and I know there were a few other people that had some good posts too.

If this board actually had sigs, you could of just looked in it at a link I used to have in my sig.

expect to spend about 300 in parts, and however much you'll need to spend for the necessary tools. Most body shops won't do the conversion, or they'll charge you well over a grand to do it

btw best mod I ever did to any of my cars... I drove my car for the camaro for the first time in like 2 weeks, and loved it with the t-tops on and 2 coats of zaino on it.

T-Tops = Overrated. I hate my T-Tops. I would love to have a solid roof car. But anyway, if you wanna do it, look into Erics or Kristens cardomain. Oh there's this another one too http://members.fortunecity.com/gripe...onversion.html

I agree 100% and I am also honestly say the worst part about my 92 Mustang GT, is the lack of T-tops...

I have thought about throwing a sunroof in, LOL

I did the conversion as well...I'd do it again too. I love it.
Now I will whore my car.
