On the side of the car, behind the front wheel. He has them painted silver. What are they called?
I have a black Firebird with red overlays for the lettering and I was wondering if painting those "things" red would be over doing it. And if I was going to paint them, do they pop out?
Thanks
PS. If your asking why doesn't he go out and try to pop them out to see for himself...well Im lazy :P
I just called them front fender vents.I have a red T/A, took mine out, and painted them chrome. They look awesome. with a red car. Hope this helps.
Well I like the look of it on the black firebird above, and you said it looks cool, but I got red overlays and I want to paint my calipers red, and I don't know if painting them red too would over do it. Hmmm...I guess its just something I gotta decide.
Yea, I'd clean them real good then prime them just to be sure the paint will stick. Then hit it with some red spray paint, and maybe a few coats of clear to kinda protect it some.
Actually the side of the car in the pic I took was in the shadow, I looked at it in the sunlight and the red is much more vibrant then in the pic. I like it :)
If you like it then keep it. I think it's pretty decent and is deffinitely a little different. When you get the calipers painted I think it will really bring it together. Just don't get stripes now because red stripes would be too much and any other color would look out of place now. Only other thing I would do is niteshade the side marker lights. Good job thus far though and grats on getting a car with the W68 kit.
