They couldn't window tint....

So i took my 93 firebird to get tints on the back window the other week, and the shop (which in my opinion is a very respectable one) could not do it! They said the slope of the glass was too difficult and it was better to pull the plug, they also added that all my speakers in the hatch didn't help any since they couldnt sit back there =) has anybody ever have this problem of not being able to tint the back window? any suggestions?

I've had mine tinted no problem....they're just whiners...bring it somewhere else.

I've heard of places wanting to tint it with two pieces or complaining about the dot matrix up top, but haven't run into anyone who wouldn't do it. Definitely go somewhere else, they're a bunch of whiners.

my bro has a 93 camaro and he says theyu had to use 2 pieces but they did it well so u cant really tell

i had a couple places quote me for two pieces and i opted for the one piece...ended up being cheaper anyway

i have my back window done at 20% in ONE PIECE

and that was years ago lol

it can be done, they are just winers, keep looking

The place that tinted mine said it was a *****, but they still did a great job on it. One piece as well.

i went to a few places that said it'd be a PITA, but the place i got it done at did one piece for cheaper than the other places quoted and said it really wasn't that bad to do :shrug:

I made sure the place I was going to was doing it with one piece. Took them 5 1/2 hours, but they got it done. And that was only the back window.

i got mine done on the northside of Chicago, by some mexican guy named jesus. side windows and the hatch for 100 bucks, 20% tint all the way around.... i love it and it looks amazing, this guy knew what he was doing, you cant even tell where the seperating line is between the 2 pieces of tint. only took him about 2 hours total

west coast customs did all of my windows including the front strip in the windshield for $175 and it took'em about an hour and a half. 5% tint baby!!

i got mine done in one peice with the matrix done and i had 2 12's on that back hump thing it it looks perfext

My place did the back window as one piece, and the side windows, for 70 dollars. Take it to another shop, these guys just can't handle it.
