I have 5% on my truck. Looks cool, byt pretty effin dark. Cold and/or rainy nights is a bee eye itch 'cause you have to roll the window down when turning to see where you're going.
anyone know how dark you can go in the state of New York? I heard you can go as dark as you want on the rear but there's restrictions on the side windows....
Sides can't have any tint, and the rear can be as dark as you want. My buddies have 20% on their sides and don't really get hassled, so you might be ok. But it all depends on the area.
I have nothing on my sides and 5% on my rear, because my parents want me to stay legal.

damn that sucks in CT the front doors can't be darker then 35% rest of the car can be limo tint
yeah, you cant have tint on the side windows in PA either im pretty sure. nothing that didnt come from the factory.
the truck has 5% on the rear window (used to be all around, but previous owner got pulled over and had to take it off) and i have a REALLY hard time seeing out the back at night. i normally have to open up the back window to see out.

Va laws suck too. the darkest you can have side is 25, rear is dark as yuo want i think, front you cant have any tint. no blackouts, have to have front license ON the front bumper I have a 98 bird so i hate that i cant have the bird on the nose!) no shaved door handles. Trucks can only be lifted 6 inches.....
