  • PICS-Red calipers, Nitrious switch panal, rims are chrome again!!

well i washed the car yesterday, i've repainted the calipers red, got a new nitrious switch panel, and i wanted to show ya'll what the car looks like now, not too many big changes, but sometimes its the little things that make one car look so much better than another. I believe everyone will agree. here are my pics:

an aftermarket hood would really set your car off. I'm not a big fan of the huge exhaust tips but I really like your car. Keep it up... oh yeah, did you take of the calipers to paint them and what paint did you use. I'm thinking of painting mine red and I really like that color.

looks nice dude. good work. How did u paiint the rear sidemarkers black?

And i highly reccomned using some nailpolish remover to remove the AVS signs on the blackouts. And then use from windex on them when ur done.

i did take off the front ones but i didnt disconnect the brake line., i didnt rmove the rear ones at all, but trust me it would be much easier to take them off and do it. i took the rear sidemarkers off and spray painted them. it took a $hit load coats to keep them black.

Looking good. Are you going to be sticking with those rims or are you planning to get some different ones in the future?

No, I already have some rims. I was just curious as to what you had planned next.

why do you have an RS emblem on there? Other than that it looks really good, except you need some wheels spacers in the back or something, bring them closer to flush with the fender.

well if there was a mustang GT at your local parking lot, and he saw this car sitting there with an SS spoiler, but an RS emblem right below it, and then on top of it all i have hood pins in the hood. it'll make him think "damn, i wonder if its a v6 or a v8, well im dont wanna find out because i know an LS1 will rip me a new @$$hole" ;)

I have the same color car and IMO clear corners look a lot better than the black-out covers. Just looks cleaner.

Also, your exhaust tips stick out too far. I also do not understand why you have a RS badge b/c RS is an appearance package which you do not have. A 3800 decal would be more fitting.

Other than that I think you car looks very nice.

One more questions, where did you get your fog lights?

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
