  • HELP!!!! pulling intreior panels

    OK so I need to know how to get the center console over the shift knob in an automatic



    Also how to get the little hanger things off, the ones on the mid panel



    Thanks for any help

    should be a clip right under the leather part of the handle...unclip it

      to get the center console out....
      pull your shift lever all the way forward, then there should be a little metal staple holding the shift knob in. Take a small flat head screw driver and pull it out and the knob should come out.

      The panel isnt attached to anything really, it is just clipped on there. If you pull, it will snap out

      Abbott long tubes,homemade true duals,slp ram air,whisper lid,eibach springs,kyb shocks,BMR subframe connectors, BMR LCA reloc brackets,BMR LCAs. T-top/manual converted

        WRONG!

        The hanger DOES hold the panel to the outer sheet metal. There are also 4 velcro pads holding the panel to the outer sheet metal.

        Use a small screwdriver to pry the center out of the hanger, then pull, it will come right out.

          wow, I love this forum, I post a question and in just a few hours I get all of the answers I need, thx guys

                you said it was clipped.. but you basically said you just pull and the clip does nothing..which is incorrect.
