Finally got my new Z06 replicas on my car. The rims are 17x9.5 (54mm offset) and the tires are 255/45/17. They are made by O.E. Concepts and bought through TomzWheels.com for $504--rims, centercaps, lugnuts, wheel locks, and valve stems. They look great!!!

Re: Pics of my new wheels
the first pic of your car almost looks like you have some ricer spoiler on it haha!
Wouldn't 275s even be cheaper than such a wierd size as 255? Knowing you could put 285s on those, why did you go with 255? Just curious.
Anyway, it looks quite nice. Black on black for the win!

Ricer spoiler???....aw man, come on! :D lol As for the tire size, I consulted the Tire Guideline Sticky in the Suspension section, and it had 3 different sizes listed as being best to use on the 17x9.5 wheel. After measuring the height of my stock tires, the 255/45's were the closest to stock height so I could keep my speedo closer to correct. Monday when I test fit the wheel on the hub, there was only about 3/8" between the wheel and the spindle, is this normal and about average?

Re: Pics of my new wheels
I put the same wheels on my black 96' a few weeks ago too, 18's though. They are nice, but I have to be honest, I was disappointed with the quality of the finish. I use to have cheap ebay black/riveted 5 spoke wheels on my Cavalier that had a beautiful finish on them that could run circles around these in terms of quality and finish.
The black Z06's are not as smoothe and glossy as they should be. The paint job on them sucks. Shame on OE Concepts. Also, since the "polished lip" is clearcoated, you do not get the effect of a beautiful mirror shine, but rather a more dull "brushed look". Which brings me to another concern: BE CAREFUL you do not use harsh cleaners on the lip since the clearcoat will peel and get messed up. USE SOAP AND WATER ONLY on these wheels no matter what.
Either way, they still look good. One thing you will want to consider is painting the calipers and maybe doing a rotor job since the brake system shows right through these wheels.2004 CE Corvette 10.86@132mph
