Road noise is so much less and the car seems to feel a lot better although i haven't had a chance to really test it out. The vibration from my bent wheel is also gone since i trashed that wheel in this process :)
Wow, almost $700 on non-low profile 16" tires? I spent $81 a piece on my tires from Tire Rack and they do just fine, at about 15,000 miles and haven't rotated them yet...
They look a hella lot better than your old ones though...

these supposedly should last me at least 50,000 miles and they are a nice performance tire. I was looking into kuhmo ecastas, where i would get out the door for 402 plus alignment, but these are a lot better tire and should last me quite a while. Also, that price includes lifetime alignment and a buy 3 get one free deal. So technically that price is for 3 tires.
but heck yeah, they look a million times better than those truck tires.
