We were on the dyno that day to compare the performance of some modifications to a previous baseline.
In that case, the baseline runs were made with the "winter" tires on the car, a set of 245/50ZR16 Goodyear F1 GS-D3s on stock wheels so, to make the data useful, we had to test the mods with the same rear tire. So I put the D3s back on for that test.
Got it. You didn't want to see gains from the lighter wheels, you wanted to see if your other changes made any difference.

And, in fact, I doubt there'd be a practical difference between the stock 8" wheels with 245/50ZR16 Goodyear F1 GS-D3s and the 9" Fiskes with 265/40ZR17 Goodyear F1 Supercars. The Fikse wheels are lighter but the bigger, 17" tires probably weigh more.
I barely turned 1k miles over this summer (67k miles total now), just didn't drive the Camaro much, thus I didn't make any mods this year. Still planning on an LS1 Swap eventually, life seems to get in the way every time I make progress on getting parts together.
