We were on the dyno that day to compare the performance of some modifications to a previous baseline.

In that case, the baseline runs were made with the "winter" tires on the car, a set of 245/50ZR16 Goodyear F1 GS-D3s on stock wheels so, to make the data useful, we had to test the mods with the same rear tire. So I put the D3s back on for that test.

Got it. You didn't want to see gains from the lighter wheels, you wanted to see if your other changes made any difference.

          Thanks

            Yep.

And, in fact, I doubt there'd be a practical difference between the stock 8" wheels with 245/50ZR16 Goodyear F1 GS-D3s and the 9" Fiskes with 265/40ZR17 Goodyear F1 Supercars. The Fikse wheels are lighter but the bigger, 17" tires probably weigh more.

Hib Halverson, isn't that the Tom Henry RS Camaro build seen in Popular Hot Rodding magazine and Camaro performers?

                It is, indeed, that car!

We're working on Part 6 of the web site series as I write this.

I just reinstalled the car's nitrous oxide system and am getting ready for some more road test sessions.

It's been a while since I posted my RS so here are some new pics. She is still running strong for being my daily driver.

I like what you did with that intake, looks slick being body color.

Don't think I've whored my car out in a while.

I barely turned 1k miles over this summer (67k miles total now), just didn't drive the Camaro much, thus I didn't make any mods this year. Still planning on an LS1 Swap eventually, life seems to get in the way every time I make progress on getting parts together.

Just as I was taking it out of storage this year:

This is a buddy of mine's F12, parked next to him at the Golf Course

This will always be my fav pic.

Who can resist whoring their car out?
