  • how do I polish my new grill

Okay I just bought this new grill I didn't like the one with the larger spacing so I bought this one about 3 weeks ago and just now recieved it

Now my problem is that its raw aluminum which dosent look bad I just want it to shine more I tried sand paper but I know there has to be some way to make it look more chrome. I don't wanna mess it up because I paid too much for it 107$ is a lot compared to the ones with the larger spacing

Please take pics for me when you get it on because I have been interested in this grill for a while.. Maybe take a head on shot.

You can take it and get it chrome plated but that will probably cost too much...

Just get like #4000 sandpaper and "sand" it.

its already on and it looks way better than those other kinds that I already had but thats just my belief.

I have chrome 17 inch rims and I just want them to match as much as possible. Im about to use my drill and do some sanding maybe that will work better because last time I hand sanded it

Sorry to be the first to disagree, but the large spaced out grille's look amazing. Alot better than the one you have IMO

I'll b the 2nd, but no grill is best for a Catfish.

I ran this grille for years with the brushed aluminum, then decided to sand it down and polish and it looks SO much nicer. I couldn't agree with you more either, that I like this one much better than the wider bars.

I have several pictures of this grille on my car and I'll post some up this evening or tomorrow. I also trimmed the grille so that it would fit back in further and made some posts to mount it more securely (do they still send them with zip ties the same as 4 years ago?). Nice choice.
