i have a really good idea for u....i was gonna do this myself but....
what about painting the actual grill pewter...and then getting the bowtie painted black instead of red....
i personally think it will flow much better and u could even continue the stripes over it....
i was gonna do it with my nbm and paint the bowtie silver...but i went with the billet grill
at that point you should just fill in the holes in the bumper and leave it alone. i got (well asked for this grill) because it's what i have wanted for a long time. you can't see much from that pic but it really flows with the car(the red bow tie that is) on my center caps on the c5 rims i have red ties also. everything is ment to be the way it is on this car.

looks nice. i dont think the red bowtie looks out of place, looks fine to me.
