Well, I've been working on my tail lights...very seldom..but finally getting somewhere. Next on the list is wiring and then i'll get some pics up of them lit up probably behind my old broken tail light lens. Updates will come when I've got something to show.
It's 87 LEDs at 60,000mcds per light.

Reason: UPDATE ON POST 14!
what are you doing for turn signals/reverse lights??
The plan is that the 2nd horizontal line up from the bottom and the 4th up will be my running lights, which will be dimmer than the rest, and for brake/turn signals, the rest of the light will light up brighter. I might do something with the reverse lights later on, but for now they are still going to be incandescents.
Great job. What do u guess yr total costs will come to?
Yep, original lenses.
I would say the total cost is going to be under 45. Actual cost for me is going to just be the price of LEDs which came to about 30 some. I just happened to have some Formica and wires and various tools.

here's a pic in the broken lens, it's not actually installed just sitting behind the lens, and the leds have not been aimed so it's no final product, but you get the idea.
it's also currently running off half the power of the final for the running lights, and about 1/5th the power of the braking portion. But we might need some adjusting.
Hey everyone! I've been trying to remove my transmission for two days now! I need to replace the clutch. Only thing I've got left holding the transmission...
Hello, so I changed the front bearings on the bird and the ABS inoperative light came on. I made a mistake of not removing negative battery cable. Now...
I usually have to double, triple my headlight switch for them to come up on my 97 Firebird. I cleaned all connections. Could it be the headlight switch...
