Interior Dress Up?
Has anyone here done anything special to their interior to give it their own personal flair/customize it? I figured it would be a good idea to start a thread on this to help give those who will eventually get around to it and those who already are customizing some ideas. Let's see some pics! I'll start with mine.
I decided against buying the whole "red and black" kit with everything in it. It was pretty crappy quality, so I bought everything separately. The seat covers are simulated leather and ran me 25 bucks a pop (the flash from the camera makes them look almost pink and black). The floor mats ran I think 20 dollars for the set of 2. The pedal covers costed I think $15. The gas pedal cover gets in the way, so I took it off. The steering wheel cover was between 10-20 bucks. The air vents pop right out. I painted those with a can of Krylon paint that's made for plastic/hard vinyl/etc. I also found some 8-inch neon bars (red, of course) for 20 bucks each which I mounted in the floorboards on each side. I ran the wires to where they were relatively hidden to that 3-outlet cigarette lighter adaptor, which I mounted right by my leg. All I have to do is jump in the car and flip the switch! That's it for now. I'm slowly working on getting the interior the way I want it. The backseat is untouched as of now, but I have plans for that.
