Paint color colection.

I want to see as many paint colors as I can. Im getting my car painted soon so I want to see what looks good. I remember one member here had tangelo orange-ish color and it looked pretty nice. So give me some color options, doesnt have to be your car, and i guess it doesnt have to be an f-body either. but remember, i like stuff that stands out, so simple black or simple red probably wouldnt do it for me. but do whatever you would like.

eh, still too basic to me. i like the sunset orange, chameleon green and other colors like that. i really like variations of orange and orange-red stuff. even gold (but i doubt that would look good on this car). i dont know, im wierd like that, sucks.

Ive seen the orange on the camaro but i dont know on a bird.. Its about 50/50 cuz i dont know.... At least u'll have a color diff apart from alot of cars!!

I get compliments on this color all the time. First they say that its a nice car... then the color is the next convo lasting 5-10 minutes.

that blue is pretty nice, im not too sure about it on a firebird tho. and i dno if blue is really my color. but i do like that color a lot


i found this list on ebay of a bunch of colors, i like the saturn gold and the firemist (on the bottom) i also like some of the oranges and anniversary gold and such. check them out, its pretty neat

i was watching Fine Tuned the other day and they pained a 350Z HOK Rasberry Pearl. I drooled on myself. Its sorta like Maple Red Metallic, but with a lot more dimension.

IMO orange doesnt look good on anything but 1st gen camaros, it just doesnt fit

There's a kid near me with a 'Maro almost that exact color. It's a bright bright lime green. Looks like ****. Then, to top it all off he has a huge *** double decker wing on it......it makes me cry at times:cry:

yea, i dont think i was being serious with that green color, lol. and plain orange isnt what i want. i want the sunset orange, on the 98+ birds. its dark and has like, metalic flakes or whatever in it. its better than just regular orange. its also on a lot of corvettes, and they look good. im sure a pre 98 would look fine.

You should stick with a dark color, or a color close to the original... No matter how good of a paint job you have, there will always be some original color paint somewhere that will show eventually, like the underbody or engine bay, door jambs, behind the mirrors etc...

I wouldnt go from a dark color to a light or bright color, it would be a bad decision.
