Window Tint Prices

I think i tried to post a thread about this but i cant find it so i might have messed up. dont get p.o.ed if i did, simple mistake.

i just want a list of what people paid for thier tinting done, at a shop. and what percent they got. also if you know what the percent law is for mass. i think its 20% but, not sure. thanks.

laws are 35% for the front and the back is all up to you I just got 20% all around looks good

I got quoted $250 and $225 at two places for the hatch, side windows...

% tint did not affect price

well, if your from texas it must be different for where you are. i dont think its 35 here, if it is then that sucks, i want darker >:0

130 for 20% on sides and limo in the back and a 3inch strip on the window

i got mine stripped and retinted with 5% for 30 bucks for the sides in gary, IN and the guy will give u a reciept saying he redid them with 35% if you ever get a ticket and go to court

wow, 130 is pretty good.....but 30 bucks...wtf.... i would go there but, i dont think driving all the way to IN would be the best idea. plus, dont they have meters that measure the tint anyway?

i went to one place, it was for audio but they did tinting. i asked how much just to see and the lady said 175 for the two windows. and for the back, i would need a special place to do it, because it has such a weird shape.......i left there knowing i wasnt going to get it done there.



also, i have heard that the back doesnt matter for tint, it can be as dark as you want. because some work vans dont even have rear windows anyway. is this true in mass?

they do have meters i just take the new receipt to court and they trow the ticket out

yo bro.im in mass about 25 mins from u...and i have a buddy who did mine 15% all the way around for $80. DAMN GOOD JOB TOO

its perfect
hes done over 80 cars.
other places cant do the back window in one piece. he can.
other places cant do the dotmatrix. he can.

normally for the three windows a place will charge anywhere from $120-$300 to tint. WASTE OF MONEY.

oh and he guarantess his work. u dont like it hell do it again. but noone has ever come back to him and complained. keep it in mind. i hope this helps

and btw its 35% plus or minus 2% but only staties can enforce that ;)

wow, maybe i could just afford it myself then and then get something else for my bday, haha. when the time comes ill be sure to ask you where it is or whatever, maybe you could help me out with it. thanks.

for 25% all the way around in alabam 160.

think im gonna do 30% all the way around for 140.
