I like the looks of the conversion on the 98+ Firebirds, gives it a kickass look. I've heard though on the 93-97 that the lenses are bad about turning yellow. And the biggest thing I didnt like is having to cut the bumper cover to use it (93-97s). The kit shown in the picture looks like all you do is take out the factory light housing and doors. Shouldnt be too hard...whats the kit run? $1000?
I'm in the minority. I like the look of fixed lights. I've almost bought that kit a couple times and I've attemted to make a set from scratch that I failed at. You can buy them from breathlessperformance.

I love the look of the automatic antenna and stock pop up headlights because when the car is off and parked the antenna is down and the headlights are down. Looks so much smoother imo.. the headlights are what I hate the most about camaros
