  • rear seat removal

So i was looking at the rear seats in my car yesterday and how to remove them.. and i noticed that the bucket part of the seat is connected to a bolt which goes through the floor. The nut appears to be on the underside of the floor and i was wondering how in the hell i'm supposed to get at the damn thing... anyone?

It does not have a nut. Just use a socket and remove the bolt. Once the bolt is out the seat lifts right out.

That's not entirely true. There is a nut. It's just epoxied, or attached some how to the underside of the car. I know this for a fact because mine broke off when I was trying to put my seats back in.

                      Re: rear seat removal

I always had my rear seat down so I took out the bottom seat behind the driver and used it to store my jumper cables, maglite, and tool box. That way I have that stuff in my car, but it is out of view and doesn't take up space in the back where the t-tops are stored.

probably because they are useless in our cars, lol. A lot of people just do a rear seat delete for weight savings and such.

                          Socket.
Don't bother messing with that. It's just not worth it imo. I had mine out for racing and never got around to putting them back in the right way. The seatbelt screws are the worse.

i wish. lol. i dont even think it can run a clean 14. ive had the car for about 8 months, and still fixing the problems as they come. when i look at your car. i revel in its beauty. i can only hope to get mine to -11 seconds. but... im still runnin stock air filter and intake... that will be the first to go.
