  • few updated pics

Hey, here are some pics of my interior. Now that schools over i can finally get around to posting some pics of my interior and definetly get around to finishing some projects.

The ebony seats are from a trans am and they are awesome! Driver side power with the Side Bolster/Back Support.

I replaced my door panels with ebony leather panels also, take a look.

I've converted most of the interior panels and trim from charcoal to ebony, unfortunatly I couldn't swap in a ebony console. The cigarette lighter wouldn't fit the newer model adaptors.

Hopefully the pics turned out good, i'm still messing with the camera settings.

The last pic is of my amplifier, i gotta find a better spot for it, I was thinking of buying the amp rack from gvperformance.com cause that looks sweet.

I used to have polk speakers all around, but swapped them out for kickers! !

Door Panel w/ external tweater: KS 6.2 6" component
    Sail Panel: KS60 6" coaxial
    Amp: ZX 750.1

I left my 12" polk momo subs alone, but eventually i'll replace with kicker so it will be a complete 1 brand system.

Lastly I went from a decent clarion cd deck to a Pioneer DEH-P6900UB.

i have polk speakers all around, front middle and back. and they are good, but im not sure if they are really that great. how do the kickers sound compared to the polks, and how much did you say each speaker set up cost, minus the subs.

        thanks

Well while I was in college I was unable to complete my car sound system (limited budget). I bought the polk speakers in the front w/ external tweater and polk speakers in the sail panel, and the subs in the back.

The problem was I only used a $25 dollar clearance amplifier from Circuit City because I was on a budget. So I never heared the potential the polk could do.

I can't tell any difference from the kicker speakers, but all I know is the bass is huge (and i'm not really into hip hop / rap). But that is from the polk momo's.

The box I use was from a fleamarket, and was only like $40 dollars. Its a small box for these subs, eventually when I replace the momo's with kickers I'll try to find a box that fits back there I hope.

As far as the price, I paid only for the kicker speakers/amp/tsunami kit and installed them myself. I wired up the speakers/amp and drilled the hole to add the tweater. The hardest part was drilling through the firewall.

I ran the 4 guage cable not from the battery, but on the driver side near the fuse box. I used the same place where my previous amp was connected. I'll take a pic and post that later, because I dont know where to mount the tsunami rectangular box that holds the fuse. Right now its just laying above the fuse cover area and I really should do something about that, maybe you all can give me an idea.

Thanks for the replies. I never really thought about taking off the grill cover for the subs, since it came with the box. I'll toss that aside.

I love the Trans-Am seats! I tend to sit higher in the sit than the Camaro headrest would allow. :poke:

no no.. once you sit in Ferraris optional racing seats you'll never go back..

interior looks great! I opted for the pioneer 7800MP because of the 16-band equalizer. Talk about customizability!! Pioneer FTW!

i'm not saying that i don't like the trans am seats at all. but for me being short the back support is just so perfect it's a beautiful thing. i've been in trans am seats. not a obber fan of leather. being a girl, they burn the cr@p out of you in the summer lol. and if the winter they are cold. i wear scrubs to work so i will either burn my a$s of freeze it. way off point

                          it looks good.
