  • American Racing Muscle Rogue or ASA JS5

I'm looking to buy rims for my red 1998 Firebird. I like the way the chrome Z06 wheels look, but I'm trying to stay away from the typical Corvette wheel on an F-body.

I was looking at either chrome or black American Racing Muscle Rogue wheels, or the ASA JS5 (again in either chrome or black).

My plans for the car are:
    • Tinted Tail Lights
    • Window Tint
    • Paint the roof black (like Z28 Camaros)
    • Black Pontiac Letter Inserts
    • WS6 Hood (with black stripes along the cowl/ram air part)
    • Trans Am Rear Hatch
    • Trans Am Front/Rear Bumpers
    • Lowering Springs

Which do you think would look better? And do you have any pictures of those rims on a Firebird (preferably red)?

Also, would you go with Chrome or Black?

definately the third picture... black with the rivets

it'll look great with the black roof/tinted taillights, people will disagree with me and say black rims never look good, but what do they know anyway?

Not enough difference to care one way or the other. It's more or less which style ceiling fan blades do you want on your car? Stick a little light on the center cap and it'll be complete.

you arent cool unless you have vette wheels! duh!!

go with the 3rd pic. black wheels CAN look great, most people dont know how to pull them off though. you need plenty of black accents on the car.

Still fan blades and with those sizes you'll need a supercharger to turn them.

Get the rogues, I've wanted to see them on an f-body for a while now.

                        funny.

you know what i meant. IMO, in order to have black wheels look good, you need some nice shiny brakes behind them so that it doesnt look like youre riding on spares. you also need plenty of black accents on the car.

if you get black wheels, get them nice and big, and try to find some that have thin spokes. a 5 spoke like the C6 wheel would work, because you can see the brakes behind it.

I have a dark green Firebird and I would love to put those wheels on it.

No matter what you buy go with black.

I've changed my mind completely again.

After looking at pictures and several different forums, I'm going with Torq-Thrust M's in black.
