  • Door panel/Door lock

    Because I am new to the whole ...... door panel take off and put on and was too lazy to watch my friend take his off of his 95, what way do I pull the little locky mechanism thingy to get it to come out, I'd hate to break something lol

    you pull the plastic lock indicator thing off the metal rod that is behind the panel and goes to the locking mechanism. It pops off, and the metal rod fits through the hole just fine.
    obtw this would be gen tech, not appearance :)

          Pull it straight towards you, it helps to push the rod back a little while pulling the lock indicator. It should pop right off.

              haha make sure you read those instructions very carefully, that regulator could cause some seriously apperence issues with your body if its not secured right lol

                  Yeah, I think i'm just gonna take it to one of ....... 2 chevy dealers lol and let then do it, so if its messed up I can blame them

                      To replace a window motor? I don't see how to get to it, LOL Besides mine doesnt have one in it right now lol the one that was in it i guess is the one that is laying in my well right now because I tried to pick it up today in the hot sun and it burned my hand lol.

                      So How would I get to it to put it in then???
