Painting of intake manifolds

I got my AR ported intakes from UDLOSE recently and Im wanting to paint them. I know the upper intake can be painted but I wasnt sure aboud the lower intake even though it looks as thougth he painted it blakc once before. My idea is to paint both intakes with black engine paint. After the upper intake is done I wnat to go back and sand off the stripes and the 3800 II lettering along the top, and pait it red with a brush on ceramic brake paint kit. Im guessing cleaning the surfaces with some brkae or part cleaner is fine to prep the parts. Please let me know if this would work out right or not. Thanx guys!

i have a powdercoater now we could use it but no oven lol

so powdercoating it is ok? i work at superwinch in the powder booth...so i could sneak it in lol

find me a spare oven for cheap/free has to be electric.. my g/fs dad has a huge pizza oven spare for their pizza place but its gas

i just did my upper intake man, and valve covers. i just used high temp engine paint. i did what you want to do, black with the red lettering. looks alsome

Lookin pretty clean under there Kristen. I assume by the wire hide mod you mean you put teh wires in the fender well. I think I read up on tha tmod before. Ive also thought about polishing certain things under there, but wasnt sure of the process. I also was considering doint the AC delet mod because I dont really use my A/C anymore than just to keep the seals in good shape. Let me knwo what process you went through to do that and I may go the same route on that. Thanx Kristen.

I just got my car repainted and returned back to me last Sunday. I am having the mirrors and side skirts painted today and wil have them back on tomorrow. With the paint job came the TA bumper with CETA mod, smooth lock covers, and removal of the side trim. Im not puting the WW front lip back on cuz its the 2nd one Ive bought an its cracked in the same area as the first. Im gonna by a set of W68 front pieces and put them on there. I hope to have pics up by the end of this week.
