at the end of your statement.you didn't say you wouldn't do it if it was your car.you said "do us all a favor and keep those wheels away from your beautiful camaro",basically telling him not to do it.correct?
No, I asked him to do us all a favor, including himself, and not ruin his Camaro by putting those rims on it. If you've read his posts, he's not dead set on them either. It sounds like he doesn't know what he wants. We are steering him in the right direction. :)
if youre going to post on an FBODY site, youre going to get the opinions of people who all have very similar taste in cars, so you probably wont get anyone saying those would look good... just because thats not our style. in many circles, rims like that are great, but just not with most fbody enthusiasts.
if you want them, go for it. there is nothing wrong with doing it. as long as you like the look, thats what matters. the ride will be pretty crappy (small sidewall) and you will feel a significant decrease in power.
2002 SOM Camaro- Sold
2006 S60- Sold
2000 Cherokee- The desert whip
if you want 20''s then by all means go for it, but when you ask for our opinion then you'll get it! If 20''s looked good on camaro's then everyone would have them... its not that we haven't thought about it yet and you are the only person to come up with this magnificent idea... trust us. If you like it then get them, but don't be upset when people don't like them and let you know about it :poke:
Why put 20''s on your car when you will only have tires issues, clearence issues, and alot more cleaning. It will not make your car look any better then 19''s or 18''s. If anything, the more chrome you have on the wheels will take away from the rest of your car. You've seen suv's and lincolns/caprices with 20''s and thats all you notice on the car.
If you want to pimp out your ride then buy a sound system, throw on some dubs, and paint some designs... but you will not get much respect from the fbody community... you might want to find a "Pimp My Ride" forum instead.
Welcome future UK stars... Darius Miller, Deandre Liggins, Kevin Galloway, Josh Harrellson
oh and you can put 6 12's in a camaro my friend micheal did it. it probably beat the same as my 2 12" treos and my jl 15 because of the airspace. he had kicker cvr's so trust me its possible
You got a rare color camaro, man. Take care of it. Last one i know that color, was totaled in Katrina Hurricane. The owner of that car decided to park his car under a tree even when he saw the warning for the hurricane -- not very smart.
Hey everyone! I've been trying to remove my transmission for two days now! I need to replace the clutch. Only thing I've got left holding the transmission...
Hello, so I changed the front bearings on the bird and the ABS inoperative light came on. I made a mistake of not removing negative battery cable. Now...
I usually have to double, triple my headlight switch for them to come up on my 97 Firebird. I cleaned all connections. Could it be the headlight switch...
