Has anyone every seen or used these in a Firebird? I mean... honestly, are they really ****ty seats or what? I mean they're $90... so I almost feel like it would have to be better than what I have now (mine are really rough), but still. What do you think?

    Re: Racing seats

i'll tell you what, it doesn't cost them $145 bucks to ship those things. You're paying more than $90 for the seats.. Honestly I don't think they would last that long and they are more than likely less functional than your current seats, but they might look good for a while.

Racing seats are one of very few things that I would NOT buy off eBay, unless they're authentic brand name seats (Sparco, Momo, etc.). I just wouldn't trust them.

Also notice, shipping is up to $168 bucks, and they dont come with SEAT RAILS.

so youve got the seat but no way of mounting them, my friend had this problem when he ordered Riccaro's for his Si.... and took him awhile to find rails that worked and they werent cheap either.

that's one thing I was concerned about. I looked on their website (www.x3racing.com, I think it was) and they don't even list the rails to mount them on. I think I'll just try to find a nice pair of leather T/A seats
