  • Need serious help on finding some body parts

    Hey,

Well hate to say it but I may be giving up the V6, but I'm stepping up. Looking at buying a black on black '01 SS, fully loaded with the SLP package, and a 6-speed. The thing is that the car needs some body work. I've checked through the parts manual and cannot find the part numbers anywhere in it.

What I need is a new drivers side door, quarter panel, and possibly the rear bumper cover. Does anyone know the parts numbers on these? Or does anyone know a website that actually has them in stock, where I could order these from? I plan to do the work myself and then take it to a shop and have it painted.

Thanks in advance for the replies.

wanted sections of these boards would probably get you some good deals, but shipping could be bad.
For the quarterpanel, your going to have to either repair the one you have, or cut the damaged one off and weld a new one in..

Welding a new one in is no big deal, I used to work at a weld shop, and still have friends working there. So they are going to do the welding for a couple of 12 packs.
