when i was changing my rad fluid, i noticed that the think on the engine side of the hood has the chevy symbol in it.. i never noticed it before until now

Pop your hood. Raise the hood. Look at the hood from in front of the car. Notice the black mat (insulation) looking thing. If you have a Camaro, it likely has a Chevy Bowtie emblem formed on it, taking up much of the mat.
