dimensions were tough, i had to guess and try for each piece. the box isnt perfect and sits to one side because of the buldge in the passanger side. i messed up measuring the t-tops so in order to get them in i have to lift the box a little and slide them under, but they are perfectly snug, so its not a big deal.
amp is under the box, and the box only goes down to where the old t-top storage bins were.
Eh, I dunno about having the amp under the box. It will get little airflow down there, with or without the T-tops in place. I have the Subthump T-top box and had my amp down there for about a week but decided to move it right under the rear window. With 5% tint on the rear window, it cannot be seen from the outside during the day or night.

I doubt the car will catch on fire, the most that will happen is the amp will overheat and go into protection mode.
