I was thinking of getting some older style 98 vette wheels, the painted silver ones. They would be 17 up front and 18 in the back. Do I need to flash my computer after installing these? If so...why? Is it because of the size difference and the computer has to adjust to it for mileage purposes or something else?

you need to tune it to the wheel size, texas speed tunes will work for that. flashing wont take into account the wheel size, the speedo will still be inaccurate2000 Camaro 3800 A4 -

you will be fine. the wheel is bigger but the tire is smaller so they are relatively exactly the same in diameter1997 Camaro LS1 RS
