i think they flow better with the car, since it only has 2 headlight housings and not a big halo ring right where the 2 curves of the hood dip.

the leds on the side can be easily deleted.
plus they are projectors, so hids here i come.
How big of a pain in the a$$ is it switching out to the H3 and H4 bulbs? Is it simply an adapter thing or do we need to get creative?

Heres what they look like on the Camaro:

I think switching from any HID light to a H3 is easy, as long as you already have the ballast and everything. I think then its just the bulb, but I might be mistaken.

half of the appearance stuff you can buy on ebay has higher shipping than selling cost... its their way of making money, especially with returns where shipping is not refunded.

Ah, makes sense. Yet another reason why I don't ebay. But I might for these since I only searched around a little to find them at 320some bucks. 200 is a lot cheaper. Or am I forgetting the numbers? Oh and btw.. I really don't like that camaro with those in it.. it just doesnt look right.. the half *** blacked out corner lights.. the grill.. oh jesus....... but yeah, like my girlfriend said, when I said wtf, "everyone has their own tastes"

Oh yeah, I pulled out my stereo unit and tried getting to the wire that the light sensor is connected to. Yeah I couldn't reach it well enough to get it unhooked from the sensor. Is there a better way to do this? I might just splice the two wires and connect them right there where I can reach. But I'd rather not cut into wires when it isn't completely necessary. Btw off topic, my car loves to eat things between the sides of the seats. It does magic tricks. My wire strippers disappeared from me and I had just been sitting in the driver seat... never got out.. never moved.. just poof. Where did I find them? In between the seat and the center console.. But I had looked and felt around there like 5 times before she gave em back. I geuss I diserve that from letting her get so dirty. :/

Are you talking about for hooking up the angel eyes? Or disabling the auto headlights? If your talking about angel eyes, wire them up to your fogs right in the engine bay, if your talking about the auto headlights, pull out the head unit, and straight back, slightly to the right is a box, and you have to disconnect one of the harnesses. I believe its a blue harness.

edit: i forgot i posted the link for the !auto headlight mod...

I was gonna go the route of pulling the plug from the actual sensor and putting a wire there. Yeah I put my halos on my running lights btw.. are they brighter on the fogs or somethin? I'm gonna run outside to make sure I know what I'm talkin about.. Yeah I kinda like my DRLs. So pulling the C2 plug disables those too. Eh. I just pulled the C2 so we'll see how I like that.

Personally, i wanted my drl's disabled as well as my auto headlights, so i just pulled the plug, but see how you like it both ways..

As far as brightness, as long as it's still getting a solid 12v, the drl's will work for the halo's. IMO, the reason I would hook them to the fogs is so I could turn them on and off as I please.

Heh I prefer my halo's on all the time. So far this setup isn't so bad. I think I can live with this.
