Anyone seen a camaro with the hood that opens from the front instead of back?

    Reversed..

or anywhere to buy the kit, or how it would look?

you mean like on a corvette.

sounds stupid and a waste of mod money imo.

      Re: Front Opening Hood

      Im just asking.

Yes like the corvette opens on the front of the car instead of near the wind shield.

Anyone seen this on a camaro?

            Re: Front Opening Hood

If they can put Lambo doors on an Fbody, then I'm sure this would be doable. I've never heard of it being done before. Check out some Vettes and see what they have as way of hinges and see if there is a place to mount them on your car.

Not sure of how far you would need to kick it up so it doesn't catch the front.

I think it would be worth the time and money to have something setting you apart from other Fbodies. Especially if you do any car shows.

Or you could do the Berger panel like everyone else.

i think it'd be a pain to work on.... usually when the hood opens in reverse, you need to lift the fenders as well for easier access.. now that would be awesome.

Sounds nice...im sure a trip to a junkyard and you could get all of the parts. I know I liked it on my 85 GSL-SE RX7...might not be bad to photoshop some looks before the swap is done..

it would make it more of a pain in the *** to work in the engine compartment.
