Re: my car on the dyno

from what i figured, hp is measured by the tires on the roller, and the torque is by the speedo/tac ratio i think. but my speedo was so off the computer was saying i had something like 440 ft lbs of torque haha
and yeah hopefully i can get a tune here pretty soon

Re: my car on the dyno

Tq is the force the wheels are twisting the dyno with. You CAN NOT calculate hp without tq. hp = (tq * rpm) / 5252

I would question having my car tuned somewhere that doesn't know the difference between hp and tq.

The place I go to is AZ dyno Chip, pretty cool guys, I pay $60, and get pretty much as many runs that I want. It is suppose to be $60 a half hour but it ends up to be about an hour. The guys name is Keith, 513 N. 54st Suite #5 Chandler, AZ 85226 Phone # 480-496-8800. I think I mught go get some runs in N/A and with the nitrous, before I start modding the engine again.

Nice run. Considering the 20% drivetrain lost your engine puts out 240 hp. I'm sure it'll be more with some tuning.

im looking into getting a blower off one of the holden rwd 3800 engines. that would be cool :)
not sure if it would work but im looking into it :)

You don't need a holden to do it ;) L67 has already been swapped into an fbod. I have a Eaton M90, or a to4e turbo, both collecting dust in the garage.

The Eaton is rebuilt and ported, $250 + shipping. Turbo is used, low miles, but spins freely, no play, $175 + shipping. I need to get rid of some of this junk in there, I have three complete top ends, a set of heads, two short blocks, hoists, engine stands etc, get's annoying trying to walk over this stuff while building a motor, lol.

while i have seen the l67 blower put on a l37, it seems like too much trouble, trying to find an easier route without tearing into my firewall, or moving key engine componets. and spending the least amount possible lol

40hp from intake full exhaust rockers and a d/s seems high...awesome!
