Im thinkin about putting a new steering wheel in my camaro, but I cant find anywhere that actually says how to do it and I want to know if its worth it or too much trouble to bother.
i don't... and personally would rather just keep the stock one... the only thing i would want to do to the interior looks wise... are
1)leather seats
2)custom camaro floormats
3)mabey some dash trim (http://rksport.com/main/part_detail....mdid=1&catid=4)
4)neon lights :D
Your limited to steering wheels from other 4th gen F bodies because of the air bag. Other then that you need a steering wheel puller. Remove the air bag with the 4 screws from the back of the wheel. Remove the nut from the center of the column . Use the pulled to remove the wheel. There are some wires you have to deal with. Use the center nut to pull the new wheel down and replace the air bag. Unhook the battery before you begin as to not set off the air bag .
So went out to start the Camaro and no start, batteries are good just hear a thud sound, started up fine last Friday. Check the fuses and the battery...
