depends on what kind of uv resistance you want out of it. any 1K clear will work, but its a good idea to wax it after all the solvents have evaporated. depending on what clear you use that can take 7-30 days.

id suggest wet sanding them yourself with 1000 grit, then take em to a body shop and have them spray it with a good 2K clear. if youre in no hurry have them just spray them with some leftover clear from a paint job and they probably wont charge any more than $5. at least then youre getting something worth while for minimal cost.

if you dont care how long it lasts use the 1K duplicolor or aerosol equivalent. i only do this stuff for a living so take it for what its worth ;)

wait you confuseing me?!?!?! so... im going to scuff up the lights so the night shade will stick to the light with a 3M scuff pad and then night shade it to how dark i want it.....then wet sand the the lights with like a 2k and then clear it right?????

i did mine over the weekend and hated the duplicor clear. I tried some Krylon Crystal Clear and it turned out much better.

how much do you need to scuff the lights before spray them?
and how long do i need to wait before wet sanding with 1000 grit and applying clear?
