  • Should I keep the current teal green color or change it?

    here's my current color:

i've been thinking of painting my firebird a different color.
    either black or redfire metallic.

i already have a gallon of black and a gallon of 'Redfire Metallic' (a stock color used on a 99-04 mustangs. i believe the redfire would look something like this:

if i keep the current color..then i'd have to find the color code for it so i can paint the rear bumper and hatch (they are sprayed with dupli-color temporary and its noticable if u look real close).. i dont think the teal green metallic is a stock color for firebirds is it? (this firebird was originally a different color)... if so, then i'd need the code to match it with the rest of the car. but i still think the teal green is a girls color. i'd prefer black.

in this instance, i'd say either that deep red or black. I'd do black, but I think that red looks really nice.

do u plan on selling your car? Repainting a car brings it's value down rapidly and also I am not sure if the inspection people will give u hard time when you go for inspection. You also have to keep in mind painting inside the engine bay/trunk/inside interior where applicable. If you want me to choose a color, red FTW. It's just something about Firebird and Red, they just go very well together (unless you have a red trans Am which is "gay" if painted red ;) :cough: :cough: team reds leader :cough: )

red looks nice, but at the same time black with your car is always a winner

That red is sharp! A lot of time to paint a car though and do it right... you doing it or a shop?

                    i like this color too

i dont wanna buy more paint tho. i'm gonna use the ones i got. black or redfire metallic. i dont know if the redfire will look too girly-like. so i'll probably go with the black.
