ok, so i had my car tinted last summer, did 20% all around. when i had that done, it was still easily visible inside from the outside. i then went and had 20% put on the t-tops hoping to stop light from coming in. the legal here is 35% on sides, and 20% on back. honestly, it looks very legal right now. i want it darker, so what are some suggestions?

is it possible to lay more tint over the existing tint?

Yeah what cam98aro said, it's possible but not recommended though. If you really want to go darker just get 5%.

easy to say, hard to see at night

i really wanted like 15-10% and after checking around my choices were 5-20-35%

I have 5% on both my camaros. A couple good things are... hard to see inside, big trucks dont blind you at night, but also it takes some getting used to. After a while you really dont notice it being so dark.

Yea, once you get used to it it's not soo bad. But is a lil difficult to back up in poorly lit areas. So long as it's not raining you can always roll your window down though.

I'd say the pro's def outweigh the con's on 5% (unless you have anal cops who search for illigal tint)

                    Re: tint questions

I had 10% and loved it. Had to rip it off though cuz of cops :(. Hoping to get 20% put on sometime in November. My dad's truck has 5% and I don't like it. From the outside it looks really good, but you get inside and can't see ****. He always has to drive with the windows down, and hates to drive in the rain.
