  • fogged out headlights

    whats the best way to fix fogged out headlights? i've heard toothpaste but i'm not gonna try something like that till i've heard of someone else doing it. suggestions?

    If you do a search on the site, you come along many threads that already deal with this. But you can sand it and polish them which many peopl do.

              Best suggestion is to throw em' out and get a nice set of custom halos. :D

                Or change to a 93-97 front end. I've never had foggy headlights.

                      best thing to do is buy new headlights. I tired everything to fix my old ones. Toothpaste, did nothing.

                      wet sanded, 1000grit, 1500grit, 2000,2500 and plastic polish.
                      they looked better but were still a little hazy

                      Abbott long tubes,homemade true duals,slp ram air,whisper lid,eibach springs,kyb shocks,BMR subframe connectors, BMR LCA reloc brackets,BMR LCAs. T-top/manual converted

                        OK Meaty... 3.5 months later. I'm going to do all our headlights this weekend. I've read some people say you have to re-clear the lights after you polish them or they will yellow out in no time. Any truth to that? What have y'all found to be truth?

                              yea i've seem those and personally i dont like them at all, just think of a fog light with the halo around it, in the headlight, kinda weird but thats what i want...i know they sell the halo lights for firebirds fog lights and idk if i should get those
