I believe it's two stage, base and clear. Not sure on the color code though.

i doubt count clear as a stage. anyways.. i mix hardener into the paint and it makes it shiney.

2 stage (base & clear) still seems to be the preferred (and more expensive) option at paint shops. You can put on as many coats as you like, as long as it covers it adequately.

You don't have to count clear as a stage if you don't want, but that's what defines a 2 stage paint and yours probably won't match well if you try to make it a single stage.

It shifts between green, blue, and purples. That all depends on what lighting it is in and what wax or sealant are on it.

yeah it changes colour.......iv got the same colour....sometimes its blue, green even dark blue......its very hard to match unless you go with the 2 stage colour...base plus clear.....very expensive

i think i figured it out.
my car doesnt have the stock paint..the previous owner had it painted before he sold it. basically, the color it is now..isn't Mystic Teal Metallic. but the original color was.. because inside the door jams it changes between blue and purple. so the color of my car now is just a similiar color to the Mystic Teal Metallic. that Mystic color would've been neat though. if i re-paint the car though it'll be a different color.

doesnt ever change to the blue or purple. stays the same metallic teal green.

car looks good even though it isnt mystic teal. ive always liked the mystic teal, but i would never have it on my own car unless i was a girl. haha!
